Star Air, the aviation arm of Sanjay Ghodawat, proudly expands its network with the launch of Diu as its 25th destination—furthering its commitment to “Connect Real India.” To celebrate six years in the skies, the airline is offering a special promotional fare of just ₹1,499. Star Air is the only regional airline to have completed six years of uninterrupted operations.
Starting May 16, 2025, Star Air will commence direct flights to Diu from both Goa (Mopa) and Ahmedabad, making the pristine Union Territory more accessible to leisure and business travelers alike.
Operating under the Government of India’s UDAN (Ude Desh ka Aam Nagrik) scheme, these new routes will be served by Star Air’s 50-seater Embraer ERJ-145 aircraft, known for their reliability, comfort, and spacious 1×2 all-economy layout.

The services will operate five days a week (Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday) and are set to play a vital role in boosting regional tourism and economic connectivity on India’s western coastline.
