Binance, the world’s leading blockchain ecosystem and virtual digital asset exchange, successfully hosted the Ahmedabad chapter of Binance Blockchain Yatra 2025, celebrating Gujarat’s innovation spirit with a day of interactive workshops, engaging discussions, and hands-on blockchain activities.

With an enthusiastic turnout of 200+ attendees, the event brought together developers, students, entrepreneurs, and blockchain-curious individuals eager to explore the next wave of Web3 transformation. Ahmedabad has also emerged as one of India’s fastest-growing financial hubs, witnessing a steady rise in retail and digital investment participation across Gujarat, making it a fertile ground for blockchain adoption.

Ahmedabad’s edition was designed as a community-first experience. Participants rolled up their sleeves to:

  • Engage in live use-case demos exploring how blockchain can transform industries like textiles, supply chain, and payments.
  • Join peer-led huddles where students, coders, and founders brainstorm how Gujarat’s entrepreneurial ecosystem can benefit from Web3.

The first panel, “India@2047 — Innovation is not an Option, Gujarat Takes the Lead,” was moderated by Manoj Singh, Founder of TICE, and featured Ameet Parikh (Start-up Task Force, Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry), Simran Gangwani (Founder, Digilize Solutions), and Kushal Manupati (Regional Growth & Ops Lead of South Asia, Binance). Panelists explored how Gujarat’s vibrant startup ecosystem and deep-rooted entrepreneurial culture can leverage blockchain to fuel the state’s growth. They emphasised the importance of innovation-led policies, grassroots entrepreneurship, and the adoption of emerging technologies in traditional sectors like textiles, supply chain, and MSMEs. The session underlined Gujarat’s potential to act as a frontrunner in India’s digital future.

The second panel, “India@2047 — Web3, AI and DeepTech: Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Opportunities,” was moderated by Kushal Manupati (Regional Growth & Ops Lead of South Asia, Binance) and joined by Apoorv Sharma (Executive in Residence, GIFT International Fintech Innovation Hub) and Sweta Tiwari (Program Lead – India, Plug and Play and Program Lead, GIFT IFIH). Discussions focused on the convergence of Web3, AI, and DeepTech as engines of job creation and entrepreneurship. Speakers highlighted the rise of GIFT City as a global innovation hub designed to enable fintech and digital businesses, noting how its incubators and innovation labs are fostering new opportunities for startups and talent. The panel also outlined practical steps to build a sustainable Web3 ecosystem from cultivating investor confidence to equipping students with future-ready skills.

Together, the two panels offered a 360-degree perspective on Gujarat’s role in India’s innovation story from the state’s entrepreneurial grassroots to its emerging position as a hub for advanced technologies.

Participants were not just listeners but active co-creators of the day. From testing decentralized applications to joining fast-paced idea jams, the Yatra in Ahmedabad was a lively proof of how blockchain adoption begins at the grassroots level

“Ahmedabad showed us the power of people coming together to learn, test, and innovate. This city’s entrepreneurial DNA makes it the perfect place for blockchain conversations to move from ideas to action. We are thrilled to see how communities here embraced blockchain tools hands-on. The Yatra is about creating confident, informed adopters, and Ahmedabad brought that vision alive,” said Kushal Manupati, Regional Growth & Ops Lead of South Asia, Binance.

The Binance Blockchain Yatra now moves to Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai, and Delhi carrying forward its mission of making blockchain accessible, responsible, and community-driven. With each city, the Yatra builds new momentum uniting diverse voices to shape India’s Web3 future.
