GOWRI MANICKAVASAGAM
Ahmedabad is all set to welcome a Navratri like no other. This year, the city’s festive nights will sparkle with “Radheraas 2.0”, a grand Garba festival curated by Radhe Events and Dwarkesh Events. More than just a dance gathering, the celebration promises to weave devotion, tradition, and youthful energy into one unforgettable experience.
At the heart of the festival lies the spirit of Rasleela — the eternal love and playfulness of Radha and Krishna. Each beat of the dhol will attempt to bring alive this sacred rhythm of joy, devotion, and divine energy. Spread over ten vibrant nights, from Monday, September 22 to Thursday, October 1, the event will be hosted at the sprawling Viviana Farm in Ahmedabad, transforming it into a cultural hotspot for Garba enthusiasts.
A Musical Tapestry of Talent
What sets Radheraas 2.0 apart is its eclectic line-up of performers. Popular singer Ishaani Dave will lend her soulful voice to the festivities, while the folk-fusion collective Aghori Music promises to infuse traditional rhythms with a contemporary twist. Artists like Piyush Gadhvi and Dimple Biscuitwala will further elevate the mood, ensuring that every evening brims with energy.
Adding a divine dimension to the event, the organizers have introduced Jagran Mandali with a “Shivshakti” theme — a first for Ahmedabad. Thirty artists from Ujjain will create a unique devotional atmosphere with nightly aartis and soul-stirring music. Renowned singer Naresh Barot will also perform as part of this spiritual ensemble, deepening the blend of festivity and faith.
Tradition in a Modern Glow
While Radheraas 2.0 draws its strength from age-old traditions, it does not shy away from embracing modernity. The venue will showcase elaborate décor that marries contemporary design with cultural motifs. The Garba experience too has been curated to balance classical beats with modern rhythms, making it equally enjoyable for purists and the younger generation.
For Radhe Events, which has been organizing Garba for the past four years, the festival has always been about more than entertainment.
“Our goal is to celebrate cultural heritage while creating a platform where families and youth come together in harmony,” shares Narayan Gadhvi, Founder of Radhe Events, who along with RJ Dipali, Sidsaab, and Karan Desai of Dwarkesh Events, unveiled the festival highlights at a pre-Garba gathering.
A Festival Beyond Dance
Radheraas 2.0 isn’t just about music and dance; it’s about creating a complete festive experience. Organizers have ensured every detail is in place — from ample parking and food stalls to medical support, fire safety measures, enhanced security, and even insurance coverage for every attendee. Tickets are available across platforms including BookMyShow, making access simple for Garba lovers across the city.
The Promise of a Memorable Navratri
Over the years, Radhe Events has established a reputation for hosting Navratri celebrations that combine grandeur with authenticity. With Radheraas 2.0, the organizers are taking that vision a step further. For ten magical nights, Ahmedabad will witness the coming together of devotion and dance, heritage and innovation, spirituality and sheer joy.
This Navratri, Viviana Farm will not just be a venue — it will be the heartbeat of a city dancing in celebration, where every step of Garba echoes with tradition yet moves to the pulse of today.
