Dr. Navneet Khanna, Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the Institute of Infrastructure, Technology, Research and Management (IITRAM), has been honored with the CLARIVATE India Research Excellence – Citation Award 2025 in the category of Engineering and Technology.
Dr. Khanna’s pioneering research focuses on smart and sustainable manufacturing, with expertise in metal additive manufacturing, post-processing technologies, tribology, advanced cooling systems, and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) studies that champion the circular economy.
Selection Process
The awardees were chosen by an expert panel at the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI) through a robust methodology combining:
- Quantitative bibliometric analysis (highly cited papers)
- Qualitative expert review
- Data insights from the Web of Science Core Collection and InCites Benchmarking & Analytics
The 2025 awards recognized publications from 2019–2024, while the Lifetime Achievement Award considered contributions dating back to 1980.
