  • Winner to Receive ₹1 Lakh and National Recognition; Entries Open till November 5, 2025
Design to Reflect India’s Vision of Self-Reliance, Innovation, and Global Leadership in Green Hydrogen

NE INNOVATION & ENERGY BUREAU
NEW DELHI, OCT 23

India’s Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has thrown open the doors for the nation’s creative community — inviting designers, innovators, students, and artists to craft the official logo for the National Green Hydrogen Mission (NGHM). The winner will receive ₹1 lakh and national recognition, while ten runners-up will each receive ₹5,000.

The Green Hydrogen Mission represents India’s bold step toward building a clean, self-reliant, and decarbonised energy future, reducing dependence on fossil fuels and positioning India as a global hub for the production, usage, and export of green hydrogen and its derivatives.

“This contest embodies the spirit of Atmanirbhar Bharat and creativity. The logo should reflect the nation’s ambition — to lead the global green hydrogen transition while inspiring sustainable innovation,” said an MNRE spokesperson.

Design Brief: Visualise India’s Green Revolution in Motion

Participants are encouraged to design a logo that symbolises sustainability, innovation, energy transformation, and India’s multi-sector potential — from steel and fertilizers to shipping, transport, and petrochemicals.

The design must reflect the mission’s holistic essence — representing clean energy, technology leadership, economic opportunity, and environmental stewardship.

Technical Guidelines:

  • File Format: JPEG / PNG / PDF
  • Resolution: Minimum 300 DPI
  • Size: 15 cm x 20 cm
  • Criteria: Creativity, originality, simplicity, artistic merit, and relevance to the NGHM vision
  • Submission Deadline: November 5, 2025
  • Submission Portal: MyGov Contest Page

Awards and Recognition

  • 🥇 Winner: ₹1,00,000 + Certificate + Round-trip airfare to New Delhi
  • 🏅 10 Runners-Up: ₹5,000 each

Entries will be evaluated by an expert committee from MNRE, which will shortlist designs that best capture the energy, innovation, and environmental optimism at the heart of the Green Hydrogen Mission.

“Through this initiative, MNRE seeks to unite creativity and climate consciousness — showing how design can become a powerful driver of sustainability,” the ministry noted.

The National Green Hydrogen Mission, launched to drive India’s transition to clean energy, aims to produce 5 MMT (million metric tonnes) of green hydrogen annually by 2030, positioning India among the global frontrunners in renewable innovation and energy independence.
