In a major demonstration of India’s growing defence preparedness and joint operational capability, the Indian Air Force (IAF) conducted Exercise MahaGujRaj-25 (MGR-25) from October 28 to November 11, 2025, in the Western Sector.

Designed to validate the IAF’s ability to execute multi-domain missions across the full spectrum of warfare, the exercise included complex air campaigns, maritime operations, and air–land missions, reflecting the force’s precision and adaptability in real-time combat environments.
Running concurrently with the Tri-Services Exercise (TSE-25), MGR-25 saw active participation from the Indian Army, Indian Navy, Coast Guard, and other defence agencies, underscoring India’s commitment to jointness, innovation, and Atmanirbharta (self-reliance).

Key highlights of the exercise included:

- Execution of fighter missions from civil airfields
- Comprehensive validation of operational, administrative, and maintenance readiness to sustain large-scale, integrated operations
