India’s first geared motorbike – MATTER AERA 5000+ on Friday unveiled its first experience centre at Perumbakkam – the IT Hub in Chennai. Launching the flagship motorbike designed and built in compliance with Aatmanirbhar Bharat, MATTER AERA 5000+ introduced HyperShift 4-speed manual gearbox developed specifically for electric bikes, said Arun Pratap Singh, Founder & Group COO, MATTER.

Designed and built entirely in India, the AERA introduces HyperShift, a 4-speed manual gearbox developed specifically for electric motorbikes. It brings back the joy of shifting gears, something riders have always loved while delivering the quiet power, smooth torque, and efficiency of an electric, he added.
The top-notch bike priced at an introductory ₹1,93,826 (ex-showroom), the AERA is open for bookings at www.matter.in. The launch comes ahead of festival season – Christmas and New Year, the city rides pick up pace across the coast and our next launch would be in Coimbatore soon, Mr Arun Pratap Singh said.
