AHMEDABAD, DEC 1
HDFC Bank, India’s leading private-sector bank, will conduct the 17th Annual Blood Donation Drive on December 5, 2025, under its flagship CSR platform Parivartan. Running from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., the initiative will be held simultaneously across 1,100+ cities, mobilising one of India’s largest voluntary health movements.
This mega drive will see the participation of bank employees, customers, corporate partners, defence personnel, students, and community members, reinforcing the country’s growing need for safe and timely blood donations. Blood donation has been among HDFC Bank’s earliest and most impactful CSR efforts under the Healthcare & Hygiene vertical.
Kaizad Bharucha, Deputy Managing Director, HDFC Bank, said, “Donating blood is a simple act that can make an immediate difference to someone’s life. We are grateful to every volunteer and partner who supports this effort each year.”
Bhavesh Zaveri, Executive Director, HDFC Bank, added, “The drive has grown because our employees and partners approach it with sincerity and teamwork. We remain committed to strengthening India’s healthcare ecosystem through such collective efforts.”
Every year, the Bank collaborates with certified blood banks, government agencies and healthcare organisations to ensure quality, safety, and transparency at all camps. This year, too, all locations will function under strict medical supervision and approved protocols.
The drive is open to all healthy donors aged 18 to 60. Interested individuals can walk into any participating centre. A detailed list of locations will be available on HDFC Bank’s website.
Since its inception in 2007, the initiative has grown from 88 centres collecting 4,385 units to 5,533 camps collecting 3.38 lakh units in 2024. The drive also holds a Guinness World Record (2013) for organising the world’s largest single-day, multiple-venue blood donation event.
