Highlighting the growing importance of dressing well as a cornerstone of professional success, Prin MC Shah Commerce College hosted an Executive Day–cum–Fashion Show on Thursday as part of its Cultural Week celebrations at the Ashram Road campus. The event underscored how appearance, grooming and attire play a vital role in shaping confidence, communication and first impressions in the workplace.
Organised by the College Cultural Committee under the guidance of N D Shah, Principal of the college, the programme encouraged students to view executive dressing not merely as fashion, but as an essential life and career skill. Through confident ramp walks, students demonstrated discipline, self-expression and professional etiquette by presenting a blend of executive wear and creatively styled outfits, drawing warm appreciation from the audience.
Speaking on the occasion, N D Shah said, “The way a student presents oneself reflects confidence, discipline and readiness for the professional world. Executive dressing is not about glamour, but about cultivating a mindset of responsibility, self-respect and professionalism. Events like this help students understand how appearance complements knowledge and skills in building a successful career.”
The vibrant showcase also celebrated talent and personality. Harsharaj Solanki and Adarsh Mishra emerged winners in the boys’ category, while Vishwa Soni and Thakor Heer secured top honours in the girls’ category, impressing judges with their poise, styling and stage presence.
Set against an energetic and joyful backdrop, the Executive Day Fashion Show stood out as a key highlight of the Cultural Week, reinforcing the college’s commitment to holistic education that blends academics with personality development and workplace preparedness.
