Narayana Business School (NBS), Ahmedabad, marked a landmark moment in its Silver Jubilee year by conferring degrees on over 540 students at its grand Convocation Ceremony for the Class of 2023–25, with an inspiring address by distinguished alumnus and Chief Guest Sandeep Bhardwaj, Managing Director and CEO of Paytm Money.

The convocation, celebrating 25 years of excellence in management education, stood out not only for its scale but also for the powerful full-circle moment it created—welcoming back an alumnus who now leads one of India’s foremost digital investment platforms. Bhardwaj’s presence and candid pep talk added deep resonance to the occasion, reinforcing the strength of NBS’s alumni network and its real-world impact.
The ceremony was held under the leadership of Founder Director Amit Gupta, Director S. C. Gupta, Dean – Academics Purvi Gupta, and Vice President – Growth & Strategy Vishal Tiwari. Together, they presided over a milestone event that celebrated academic achievement, institutional legacy and future readiness.
As part of the Silver Jubilee graduating batch, more than 540 students across management specialisations received their degrees, formally transitioning from campus to corporate and entrepreneurial journeys. The graduating cohort represented over 24 Indian states and Union Territories, underscoring NBS’s growing national footprint.
Opening the convocation, Amit Gupta reflected on the institution’s 25-year journey and its founding philosophy. He said,
“Over the last 25 years, we have focused not only on academic excellence but also on character building. We are confident that our graduates will carry forward the values of integrity, curiosity, and positive impact as they step into the global professional arena.”
The highlight of the ceremony was the keynote address by Sandeep Bhardwaj, whose return to NBS as Chief Guest symbolised the transformative power of education rooted in discipline and purpose. Drawing from his own professional journey, he urged students to remain agile and principled in an increasingly complex world.
Addressing the graduating class, Bhardwaj said,
“The future will demand continuous learning and ethical decision-making. The foundation you build today will define the kind of leaders you become tomorrow. Returning to my alma mater to address this graduating class is an immensely proud and personal moment for me.”
The leadership team also acknowledged the collective contribution of faculty, students, alumni and industry partners in shaping NBS into a robust learning ecosystem that balances academic rigour with practical relevance.
