More than 680 children from across Mumbai enjoyed an unforgettable day of joy, discovery and celebration at Hamleys Wonderland™, as Reliance Foundation marked its annual Education and Sports for All (ESA) Day. The immersive experience combined entertainment with experiential learning, reinforcing the belief that joyful play can ignite curiosity and lifelong aspirations.
Children from government and government-aided schools, along with non-governmental organisations supported through Reliance Foundation’s year-long initiatives, took part in the festive carnival at Jio World Garden. The event reflected the Foundation’s commitment to creating inclusive opportunities that inspire children to dream big and realise their potential.

Isha Ambani, Director, Reliance Foundation, joined the children for the celebrations and highlighted the power of joyful learning. She said, “Reliance Foundation believes that when children have joyful experiences, they aspire, build character and grow their potential. Our ESA programme combines this philosophy with the joy of giving. For over 15 years, Reliance Foundation has been organising festive celebrations for children from diverse backgrounds. This year, the children also experienced Light Atelier at Hamleys Wonderland. It was amazing to see the young children delight in learning through the exhibition, while playing with light and shadows.”
At Hamleys Wonderland™, the children explored a wide range of attractions, including Dino World, Elevator to the North Pole, Giant Ferris Wheel, Carousel, Bumper Cars, Wonder Balloon, Wonder Boat, and several interactive games that added to the excitement of the day.
A key highlight this year was Light Atelier, a new attraction presented by the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in collaboration with Dadu, the Children’s Museum of Qatar. Designed for children aged 4 to 12 years, Light Atelier invites young minds to discover the magic of light, shadow and colour through playful, hands-on exploration in an immersive learning environment.
Rooted in Reliance’s ‘We Care’ philosophy, the ESA programme continues to make enriching educational and recreational experiences accessible to children from all backgrounds. The annual December celebration serves as a platform to nurture imagination, fuel aspirations and celebrate the spirit of joy and giving.
