In a major facilitation drive for Defence Pensioners and Family Pensioners, the Area Accounts Office (Southern Command), Ahmedabad, in coordination with Station Headquarters, Ahmedabad Cantonment, is organising a SPARSH Outreach Programme to provide on-the-spot pension-related services and assistance.
The two-day outreach programme will be held on 29 and 30 December 2025 at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Auditorium, Ahmedabad Cantonment, starting from 09:30 AM onwards. The initiative aims to help pensioners complete Life Certificate submission, resolve grievances, and avail various services available on the SPARSH (System for Pension Administration – Raksha) portal.
Defence and Family Pensioners are encouraged to make use of this opportunity for quick and hassle-free resolution of pension-related issues. To ensure smooth processing, pensioners are requested to carry the following documents:
- Aadhaar Card
- PAN Card
- Mobile number linked with Aadhaar
- Pension Payment Order (PPO)
- Bank account details
The SPARSH Outreach Programme is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen digital pension administration and ensure timely, transparent and accessible pension services for veterans and their families.
