Locks & Architectural Solutions, a key business of the Godrej Group, closed calendar year 2025 on a strong footing, setting its sights on ₹1,400 crore in revenue by FY26, up from an estimated ₹1,250 crore in FY25, reflecting 12–14 per cent year-on-year growth. The expansion is being powered by rising adoption of digital and connected security solutions, alongside sustained demand from residential, commercial and fast-growing urban markets across India.
The business continues to consolidate its leadership in home safety, with growth momentum supported by a diversified portfolio and increasing relevance in modern infrastructure and premium housing segments.
Digital Locks Emerge as the Fastest-Growing Segment
While traditional mechanical locks remain the backbone of the business, Architectural Solutions has emerged as a high-growth vertical aligned with premium interiors and evolving design sensibilities. The standout performer, however, is the digital locks category, which has recorded nearly 30 per cent annual growth, significantly outpacing mechanical locks.
This surge reflects a clear shift in consumer preference towards keyless, smart and connected security solutions that combine enhanced safety with convenience, remote access and modern aesthetics.
Expanding Portfolio and Omnichannel Reach
The company’s portfolio spans a wide range of mechanical locks, including padlocks, rim locks, deadbolts, cylindrical locks, shutter locks and pentabolts, complemented by a rapidly expanding range of digital and connected locks.
The Neo Digital Locks range, priced from ₹8,999 onwards, aims to democratise smart security with features such as PIN, biometric, RFID, mobile app access and mechanical key override, along with anti-theft alarms, auto-locking and emergency power backup. The premium GSLD1 further strengthens the lineup with seven-in-one access, cloud integration and remote monitoring.
E-commerce and quick commerce channels currently contribute 3.5–4 per cent of revenue and are projected to grow to 11–12 per cent by FY28. With service coverage across over 13,000 PIN codes, the brand continues to deepen its reach in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, reinforcing a strong omnichannel presence.
Safety Awareness, Digital Mindfulness and Long-Term Vision
The brand continues to expand its flagship Har Ghar Surakshit platform, now in its ninth year, with the 2025 edition introducing the “Accidental Invitation” initiative. The campaign draws attention to the security risks of digital oversharing and is anchored by the Accidental Invitation App, which assesses online behaviour and generates a personalised risk score to promote digital mindfulness as part of holistic home safety.
To date, the programme has conducted over 1.7 lakh home safety check-ups, including more than 21,000 in the current year, supported by a series of films highlighting real-world digital vulnerabilities.
Commenting on the year’s performance, Shyam Motwani said 2025 marked a phase of focused innovation, digital transformation and strategic expansion, driven by trust and accessibility of smart security solutions. Looking ahead, the business remains aligned with its long-term goal of doubling revenues to ₹2,500 crore by 2028, backed by product innovation, Make-in-India manufacturing and deeper consumer engagement.
