The Institute of Infrastructure Technology Research and Management (IITRAM), Ahmedabad, and the Institute of Plasma Research (IPR), Gandhinagar, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen academic collaboration and expand research partnerships across key scientific and technological disciplines.
The MoU was signed by Prof. P. K. Jain, Director General, IITRAM, and Prof. Tapas Ganguli, Director, IPR, in the presence of senior leadership from both institutions, including the Director, Dean (R&D) and Dean (OAA) of IITRAM, along with the Dean (R&D) and other dignitaries from IPR.

The collaboration aims to foster joint research and development initiatives, leveraging the complementary strengths and expertise of IITRAM and IPR. The agreement provides a structured framework for academic exchange, enabling faculty and student interactions, co-organised workshops, seminars and specialised training programmes.
Dignitaries present on the occasion underscored that the partnership is expected to unlock new opportunities in engineering, technology and allied fields, while strengthening interdisciplinary education and research capabilities. They expressed confidence that the alliance would play a significant role in skill development and innovation, particularly in emerging and high-impact domains of science and technology.
