Zorvia Health Care Limited on Monday issued a strong rebuttal to what it described as rumour-based insinuations seeking to link the company with Zuventus Healthcare Limited, categorically asserting that it operates as a fully independent pharmaceutical entity with no association whatsoever with Zuventus or any other company.
Issuing the statement in the interest of transparency and to prevent misunderstanding within the pharmaceutical trade, Zorvia said it had taken note of certain communications circulated by Zuventus which, though styled as “clarificatory”, contain statements and insinuations that improperly associate Zorvia with alleged misinformation and unethical conduct in the market.
Zorvia underscored that it is a newly incorporated pharmaceutical company, established with a clear vision of building a sustainable and credible presence in the Indian pharmaceutical market through ethical business practices, strict regulatory compliance and long-term partnerships.
“As a newly established organisation, credibility, trust and goodwill are foundational to Zorvia’s business, and Zorvia remains committed to conducting itself with integrity and professionalism at all times,” the company said.
The company categorically denied any role in circulating misleading information about Zuventus.
“Zorvia has never circulated, directly or indirectly, any communication suggesting that Zuventus has ceased operations, rebranded, transferred its business or is offering its products under Zorvia’s name. Any suggestion or inference to the contrary is incorrect and misleading,” the statement said.
Zorvia further clarified that it functions entirely on a standalone basis.
“Zorvia operates independently, under its own name and identity, and has no corporate, commercial or operational association with Zuventus or any other pharmaceutical company. Zorvia’s operations and commitments to its channel partners remain unaffected and steadfast,” it said.
Emphasising its intent to safeguard its reputation, Zorvia said it will pursue appropriate legal remedies against the defamatory statements.
“Zorvia remains fully committed to protecting its reputation, business interests and legitimate relationships within the pharmaceutical industry through appropriate legal remedies, as may be advised,” the company stated.
The statement added that Zorvia will be taking appropriate legal action for reputational harm and will pursue all remedies available under law to protect its goodwill, business interests and legitimate relationships within the pharmaceutical industry.
Reaffirming its commitment to stakeholders, Zorvia said it values the confidence and trust placed in the company by its partners and remains focused on building enduring relationships founded on transparency and mutual respect.
“Any stakeholder who receives any communication that raises doubts or concerns regarding Zorvia is requested to verify the same directly with Zorvia through its official channels and duly authorised representatives,” the company said.
