In a significant boost to grassroots cricket, the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) will host the Under-14 Quadrangular Invitational Tournament for Boys from February 13 to February 23, 2026, in Chennai.

The tournament, designed to nurture emerging cricketing talent, will be played in a competitive two-day format and will feature four strong sides — Tamil Nadu, Mumbai, Andhra and Hyderabad — promising high-quality junior cricket action over ten days.

All matches will be staged at the Gojan Cricket Grounds, Tiruvallur, a venue known for hosting key developmental fixtures in the state’s cricketing calendar.

Adding momentum to the event, the Tagore Group of Institutions has come on board as the tournament sponsor, underlining growing institutional support for structured youth cricket competitions.
In a progressive move aimed at enhancing visibility and engagement, all matches will be live-streamed on the TNCA YouTube Channel, enabling fans, parents and talent scouts to follow the tournament in real time.
In an official communication, U. Bhagwandas Rao, Honorary Secretary, TNCA, stated: “We have enclosed the Tournament Fixtures and Playing conditions for your reference, and we request you to publish the scores in your esteemed daily.”
The TNCA Under-14 Quadrangular Invitational Tournament continues the association’s long-standing commitment to strengthening the junior cricket pipeline, offering young players exposure to competitive inter-state cricket at a formative stage of their careers.
With traditional powerhouses like Mumbai in the fray alongside strong southern contenders, the tournament is expected to provide a compelling showcase of India’s next generation of cricketing talent.
