Who Can Apply?
Candidates born between 01 July 2005 and 01 July 2009 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply under the Agnipath Scheme.
The recruitment drive covers youth from 21 districts of Gujarat—Ahmedabad, Anand, Arvalli, Banaskantha, Bharuch, Chhotaudepur, Dangs, Dahod, Gandhinagar, Kheda, Mahisagar, Mahesana, Narmada, Navsari, Panchmahals, Sabarkantha, Surat, Tapi, Vadodara, Valsad & Vav Tharad—along with the Union Territories of Daman and Dadra & Nagar Haveli.
Categories Under Agniveer Recruitment
Youth can apply under multiple categories based on educational qualification and interest, including:
- Agniveer (General Duty)
- Agniveer (Technical)
- Agniveer (Clerk/Store Keeper Technical)
- Agniveer Tradesmen (10th pass & 8th pass categories)
Educational qualifications vary by category. Broadly:
- General Duty: Class 10th pass with minimum aggregate percentage and specific subject criteria.
- Technical & Clerk: 10+2 with Science/Commerce streams (with Maths/Accounts/Book Keeping as applicable).
- Tradesmen: 8th or 10th pass depending on the trade applied for.

Selection Process: Step-by-Step
The recruitment process begins with the Online Common Entrance Examination (CEE). Shortlisted candidates will then undergo:
