In a move that reinforces its focus on purpose-led beauty and wellness brands, Reliance Retail Limited, India’s largest retailer, has completed the acquisition of the ‘Pahadi Local’ brand along with its business from Pahadi Goodness Private Limited.
Pahadi Local is a fast-growing Indian beauty and wellness label recognised for its nature-inspired formulations rooted in Himalayan ingredients and traditional wellness practices.

Founded with the mission of bringing the purity and efficacy of Himalayan botanicals into everyday personal care, the brand has carved out a distinctive position in India’s rapidly evolving beauty and wellness market. It is widely appreciated for its clean formulations, transparent sourcing practices, and appeal among consumers seeking authentic and sustainable skincare alternatives.
With this acquisition, Reliance Retail Limited aims to scale a differentiated Indian brand by leveraging its extensive omni-channel retail ecosystem, digital commerce platforms, and robust supply chain infrastructure.
