A Digital Gateway to Railway Services
The RailOne app, introduced by Indian Railways, is designed as a single integrated digital platform that brings together multiple passenger services in one interface.
Through the app, passengers can:
- Book reserved, unreserved, platform and season tickets
- Check real-time train location
- Access platform and coach position details
- Order food during travel
- Register complaints or service requests through RailMadad
- Seek assistance from the Railway Protection Force (RPF)
Officials said the platform significantly improves convenience for passengers while helping reduce queues at ticket counters and minimising paper ticket usage.
Special Green Incentive for Digital Users
To encourage passengers to adopt digital ticketing and support sustainable practices, Indian Railways is offering a 3% discount on unreserved and platform tickets booked through the RailOne app using digital payment methods.
The promotional discount will remain valid until July 14, 2026, officials said.
Awareness campaigns promoting the RailOne platform are now being organised every Monday at major stations in the Thiruvananthapuram Division, ensuring wider outreach among railway passengers.
