In a decisive step towards transforming articleship placements, the Chartered Accountants Association, Ahmedabad (CAAA) hosted its third Articleship Fair, drawing an impressive turnout of aspiring Chartered Accountants and top-tier firms. Held at the iconic The Sports Club, the event saw participation from over 100 students and 34 reputed CA firms, underlining its growing stature as a high-impact recruitment platform.
Far from being a conventional job fair, the initiative stood out for its precision-driven, tech-enabled matchmaking model. Students specified their preferred domains—Audit, Taxation, GST, Internal Audit—alongside location choices, while firms outlined their expectations and criteria. A smart digital dashboard seamlessly aligned both sides, enabling targeted shortlisting and on-the-spot structured interviews.
The result: a dynamic, efficient, and meaningful engagement ecosystem that maximised compatibility and minimised guesswork.
CA Rushabh Shah, President, CAAA:
“This initiative addresses a long-standing gap in articleship placements. By eliminating randomness and introducing structure, we ensure the right fit for both students and firms—truly a win-win for the profession’s future.”
CA Bishan Shah, Chief Coordinator:
“Beyond placements, the platform empowers students to engage deeply—understanding firm culture, learning opportunities, and work-life balance before making informed choices.”
CA Ashish Sharma, Secretary, CAAA:
“The overwhelming response reflects the need for such curated platforms that bring clarity and confidence to aspiring professionals.”
CA Mayur Modha, Coordinator:
“Our focus was to create a seamless and enriching experience—and the results speak for themselves.”
The fair received widespread appreciation from participants and observers alike, reinforcing CAAA’s commitment to modernising professional pathways and nurturing the next generation of Chartered Accountants.
