In a major capacity expansion move, Greenply Industries’ wholly owned subsidiary Greenply Speciality Panels Private Limited has broken ground for its second Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF) production line at its advanced manufacturing facility in Vadodara, Gujarat.
The expansion—entailing an investment of ₹425 crore—comes amid rising demand for MDF products across residential, commercial, and modular furniture segments, positioning the company to scale up operations and reinforce its market leadership.
Capacity Boost with Future Focus
The new MDF line is expected to be operational by Q2 FY2028, significantly enhancing production capacity and enabling the company to cater to growing domestic demand more efficiently.
The project is also set to generate employment opportunities across the value chain, contributing to local economic development in Gujarat.
Leadership Marks Milestone
The groundbreaking ceremony was led by Rajesh Mittal and Sanidhya Mittal, along with over 35 dealers and channel partners from across the region.
