In a vibrant display of communal harmony and inclusivity, an Eid Milan Program organised by Shri Amjad Khan, President of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Gujarat Minority Wing, brought together people from diverse backgrounds to celebrate the spirit of Eid-ul-Fitr.
Held between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM, the event witnessed enthusiastic participation, with attendees exchanging warm greetings and reinforcing the values of brotherhood, unity and social cohesion.
Gopal Rai’s Call for Unity
The event was graced by Chief Guest Shri Gopal Rai, MLA from Delhi and AAP Gujarat Prabhari, who extended heartfelt wishes: “Festivals like Eid remind us of the strength of our shared values—mutual respect, compassion, and social harmony.”
He also praised the organiser: “Such meaningful gatherings strengthen the fabric of India’s diverse culture and bring communities closer.”
Celebration Rooted in Culture & Togetherness
The programme featured a blend of:
- Prayers symbolising faith and gratitude
- Cultural performances celebrating diversity
- Distribution of sweets, reflecting joy and sharing
Community leaders, dignitaries and local residents participated in large numbers, turning the event into a platform of connection and goodwill.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Shri Amjad Khan, followed by a collective pledge by attendees to uphold peace, harmony and unity in society.
