In a strategic move to deepen its footprint in precision engineering and automotive components, Bharat Forge Limited has announced the acquisition of a 30% stake in Fortuna Engineering Private Limited, at an equity valuation of ₹129.60 crore, subject to customary closing adjustments.
Founded in 1989, Fortuna Engineering is a well-established manufacturer of precision-machined engine components, catering to leading automotive OEMs across passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, tractors, and off-highway segments in India.
STRATEGIC SYNERGY FOR SCALE & CAPABILITY
The partnership is expected to unlock new growth avenues by combining Bharat Forge’s global scale and engineering expertise with Fortuna’s strong manufacturing capabilities and market reputation. The collaboration aims to expand into new products, customer segments, and geographies, reinforcing both companies’ positions in the evolving mobility ecosystem.
