AHMEDABAD, MAY 14

In an inspiring story of dreams defeating limitations, determination overcoming hardship and education transforming lives, Adani Vidya Mandir Ahmedabad has once again emerged as a beacon of hope for first-generation learners by delivering a stellar 100 per cent pass result in the CBSE Class XII Board examinations.

  • Adani Vidya Mandir Ahmedabad records 100 per cent CBSE Class XII pass result, surpassing national average
  • School achieves remarkable overall average of 82.8 per cent with 22 students scoring above 90 per cent
  • Many toppers are first-generation learners from economically disadvantaged families and Gujarati medium backgrounds
  • Namya Shah tops school with 97.8 per cent; Vinayak Parmar and Purva Rathod emerge stream toppers
  • Students credit mentorship, value-based education and tuition-free learning environment for their success

At a time when the national CBSE Class XII pass percentage stood at 85.2 per cent and top scores witnessed moderation across the country, the Adani Foundation’s flagship free school for academically gifted students from economically disadvantaged families scripted an extraordinary success story powered by resilience, mentorship and opportunity.

All 104 students who appeared for the examinations cleared them successfully, with the school recording an impressive overall average of 82.8 per cent. As many as 22 students scored above 90 per cent, while another 45 secured marks between 80 and 89 per cent, reflecting strong academic consistency across Science, Commerce and Humanities streams.

But beyond the numbers lies a deeply human story.

Many of the top achievers began their academic journey in Gujarati medium schools and come from families engaged in tailoring, labour work, data entry operations and small trading activities — households where higher education often remained a distant dream until opportunity knocked.

Dreams Rise From Humble Beginnings

School topper Namya Shah scored a phenomenal 97.8 per cent to emerge as the overall topper as well as Commerce stream topper. Her family is associated with paint brush trading work, and she joined the school in Grade 3 after studying in a Gujarati medium institution.

Reflecting on her achievement, Namya said:
“Adani Vidya Mandir shaped my dreams into direction. Its guidance fuelled my ambition and its values built my foundation. Every opportunity here became a stepping stone towards success. With 97.8 per cent in Class XII, I am proud and deeply grateful for the support I received here.”

Science stream topper Vinayak Parmar scored 96.4 per cent. Coming from a tailoring family, he too joined the school in Grade 3 and steadily transformed his academic potential into excellence.

In Humanities, Purva Rathod secured 93.4 per cent. The daughter of a labourer, Purva transitioned from a Gujarati medium school and emerged as one of the institution’s brightest achievers.

‘No Private Tuition, Only School Guidance’

Another standout performer, Parva Sanghvi, whose family is involved in jute bag trading, scored 97.4 per cent along with a perfect 100 in Accountancy and 99 in Business Studies.

“Scoring 97.4 per cent without any private tuition was possible because of the guidance and encouragement from Adani Vidya Mandir,” she said.

The school also recorded several subject-level milestones, including three students securing 100 out of 100 in Accountancy and one student achieving a perfect score in Gujarati.

Overall, 86 students earned distinctions, while 18 secured first division results — a testament to the school’s focus on academic rigour, personal mentoring and holistic development.

Education As A Tool For Social Mobility

Established in 2008, Adani Vidya Mandir Ahmedabad was the first school under the Adani Vidya Mandir network, which now operates campuses in Gujarat, Chhattisgarh and Andhra Pradesh.

The schools function under the Adani Foundation and provide free, quality and value-based education to academically promising students from underprivileged backgrounds.

This year also marks the 30th anniversary of the Adani Foundation, which continues to expand its social impact initiatives across education, healthcare, sustainable livelihoods and community development.

Educationists say the school’s success is not merely reflected in marksheets, but in the confidence and aspirations it instils among children who are often the first in their families to dream beyond survival.

For these young achievers, the Class XII results are not just examination outcomes — they are life-changing milestones that signal a new generation stepping confidently into a brighter future.
