Paras Desai, Executive Director of Wagh Bakri Tea Group, has been conferred the prestigious ‘Champion of Change’ Honour by the Lions Council of India, an initiative of the Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF), in recognition of his professional accomplishments and sustained commitment to social development.
The honour celebrates individuals who have leveraged their leadership and influence to create meaningful and lasting impact across communities while driving excellence in their respective fields.
Representing the fourth generation of leadership at Wagh Bakri Tea Group, Desai has played a defining role in strengthening the legacy of one of India’s most trusted tea brands. Under his stewardship, the century-old enterprise has expanded its footprint, embraced innovation and sustained growth, while remaining firmly anchored in the values of trust, quality, responsibility and community welfare that have shaped the Wagh Bakri identity for generations.
