In an inspiring celebration of faith through music, nearly 500 people gathered at FrizBee Food Park on Sunday evening to witness a refreshing cultural movement where devotional music stepped beyond conventional boundaries and found a contemporary voice through ‘Bhajan Jamming’, an immersive experience designed to connect spirituality with the sensibilities of Generation Z.

Conceived as “Bhajan Jamming for the Divine Gen-Z,” the initiative by Mihir Events and Services, led by Ankit Chandarana, seeks to revive devotional traditions by making them emotionally engaging, participative and relevant for younger audiences without compromising their spiritual essence.

As twilight descended over the open-air venue, the atmosphere transformed into a vibrant musical sanctuary where devotion flowed through melody, rhythm and collective participation rather than ritual alone.

At the heart of the evening were the Vyas Brothers, celebrated for their signature Naad Bhajan Jamming, who seamlessly blended timeless devotional compositions with contemporary acoustic arrangements, creating an energetic yet soulful ambience that dissolved the barriers between performers and listeners.

Instead of remaining silent spectators, the audience joined in with rhythmic claps, chorus singing and spontaneous participation, turning the gathering into a shared spiritual celebration where every voice became part of the experience.

Unlike traditional bhajan sessions, this innovative format thrives on interaction and emotional engagement, inviting participants to experience devotion through music that feels immediate, inclusive and deeply personal.

Explaining the philosophy behind Naad, Neti Vyas said, “Bhajans have always been part of our lives, but the expression needed to evolve. Naad was born to present devotional music in a way that feels fresh yet rooted, bringing people together in an inclusive, collective musical experience.”

Highlighting the strong resonance among younger audiences, Bihag Vyas observed, “When bhajans are presented with a contemporary sound, young audiences connect instantly. Today, they don’t just listen, they participate, and that shared energy creates a deeper emotional bond with the music.”

Reflecting on the transformative nature of the concept, the Vyas Brothers added, “When spirituality is experienced in an interactive format, it naturally draws the younger generation in. Bhajan Jamming creates a space where devotion is felt, not taught, bridging tradition with today’s audience.”

Organiser Ankit Chandarana said the initiative was born out of the need to reconnect young people with India’s rich devotional heritage through a format they could naturally relate to.

“Today’s generation often feels distant from traditional bhajans and kirtans. With Bhajan Jamming, we wanted to create a format that feels relevant to Gen-Z while preserving the essence of devotion, making spirituality more accessible and engaging,” he explained.

The evening transcended generational boundaries, bringing together people of all ages in a shared celebration where music became a universal language of faith and togetherness.

As devotional voices echoed beneath the open sky, the event quietly reaffirmed that spirituality need not remain confined to rituals and tradition alone—it can also flourish through rhythm, participation and the collective joy of singing together, proving that timeless values can find new life when expressed through contemporary creativity.
