In a vibrant celebration of International Yoga Day, Navgujarat College of Computer Applications, a constituent of the Navgujarat Group of Colleges, observed the occasion with remarkable enthusiasm and active participation from students and faculty members, reaffirming the timeless relevance of yoga in nurturing a healthy body, a focused mind, and a balanced life.

The event was designed to create greater awareness about yoga as a powerful tool for achieving physical, mental, and emotional well-being while inspiring young minds to incorporate wellness practices into their daily lives.
The programme commenced with an enlightening address explaining the true essence of yoga and its transformative role in establishing harmony between the body and the mind. Speakers highlighted how regular yoga practice contributes significantly to overall health, emotional resilience, and mental clarity amid the demands of modern-day life.

Adding a unique dimension to the celebration, printed study material focusing on the subconscious mind and its influence on physical and mental well-being was distributed among students. The initiative aimed to deepen awareness about positive thinking, mental health, and the psychological foundations of holistic wellness.
The practical yoga session showcased a series of classical asanas, including Tadasana, Vrikshasana, Baddha Konasana, Hastangusthasana, Padmasana, and Sukhasana, enabling participants to experience the physical benefits of yogic practice firsthand.

Students also actively participated in breathing exercises such as Nadi Shodhana and Pranayama, which promoted relaxation, improved concentration, enhanced respiratory health, and fostered a sense of inner peace.
