The large-scale observance witnessed the participation of nearly 38,000 NCC cadets drawn from all 33 districts of Gujarat and the Union Territories of Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, underscoring the National Cadet Corps’ enduring commitment to building a healthier, stronger and more resilient generation.

Adding grandeur to the celebrations, yoga sessions were conducted at 15 iconic venues, including the Statue of Unity, Somnath Temple, Atal Bridge, Sun Temple at Modhera, Dandi Beach and several other landmark locations, blending India’s rich cultural heritage with the timeless practice of yoga.

The synchronised sessions promoted physical fitness, mental well-being, self-discipline and holistic development among cadets and members of the local community. The initiative also reinforced the message that yoga is not merely an exercise but a way of life capable of fostering harmony between body, mind and spirit.

The widespread participation reflected the growing acceptance of yoga among young Indians and highlighted its role in enhancing focus, resilience, emotional balance and overall well-being. Through community engagement and mass participation, NCC cadets emerged as ambassadors of healthy living, inspiring people across Gujarat to embrace wellness as an integral part of daily life.
