MUMBAI, JUNE 22
In a bold move set to redefine India’s fitness landscape, Jerai Fitness Limited, one of the country’s pioneering manufacturers of fitness equipment, has announced the launch of ‘Last One Standing’, a groundbreaking national championship designed to identify India’s toughest and most resilient fitness athletes.
Powered by Reebok as the official merchandise and fitness accessories partner, the event promises to be far more than a competition. It aims to spark a nationwide movement that inspires individuals to rediscover the power of physical fitness, mental resilience and personal discipline.
Registrations for the highly anticipated one-day championship open today, with the inaugural edition scheduled to take place in Mumbai on December 13, 2026. Participation for the first edition is limited to the first 500 entrants, making it one of the most exclusive fitness challenges in the country.
At a time when sedentary lifestyles are becoming increasingly prevalent, Last One Standing seeks to encourage people to move beyond comfort zones and unlock their true potential. Built on the philosophy that fitness is about performance rather than appearance, the championship challenges participants to discover how far their bodies and minds can go when pushed to the edge.
Unlike traditional sporting contests centred on a single discipline, Last One Standing combines six demanding events into one comprehensive test of athletic excellence. Participants will compete in Squats, Bench Press, Deadlift, Pull-Ups, Giant Bat Run and Air Bike (Cycling), with each challenge measuring a unique aspect of strength, stamina, agility, balance and mental toughness.
The competition has been designed with inclusivity at its core. Open to both men and women aged 18 and above, the championship will feature age-wise and weight-wise categories to ensure a level playing field.
The men’s division will be split into Under 30 and Above 30 categories, while the women’s division will feature Under 25 and Above 25 categories.
Participants will accumulate points across all six events during the group rounds. The athlete securing the highest cumulative score in each category will earn the coveted title of Last One Standing.
In addition to event-specific cash prizes, overall category champions will receive bumper rewards and special recognition. The championship will crown four overall winners alongside multiple individual event champions.
To uphold the highest standards of fairness, safety and transparency, all performances will be monitored and evaluated by certified referees.
Speaking about the launch, Rajesh Rai, Managing Director, Jerai Fitness and Ideator of ‘Last One Standing’, said: “Today, convenience has reduced movement from our lives. Our bodies are capable of incredible strength, yet we challenge them less and less. Last One Standing is our way of bringing back that spirit of endurance, discipline, and resilience. This platform is not just for elite athletes, but for anyone and everyone willing to test themselves and push beyond their limits.”
Adding to the excitement, the championship venue will feature crowd-engagement zones, athlete recovery areas, live experiences and community participation activities, transforming the competition into a full-fledged fitness festival.
With India rapidly emerging as one of the world’s fastest-growing fitness markets, Jerai Fitness believes Last One Standing has the potential to evolve into a marquee sporting property that motivates people to move more, compete harder and discover their true capabilities.
As competitors battle fatigue, pressure and limits, only one question will matter:
Who will be the Last One Standing?
