GLS University transformed its campus into a vibrant hub of entrepreneurial learning by hosting “The Entrepreneurial Blueprint”, an exclusive interaction featuring eminent industrialist Sushil Kumar Jiwarajka, Chairman of OMC Power. The high-impact session offered students a rare opportunity to engage with one of India’s accomplished business leaders and gain first-hand insights into entrepreneurship, leadership and innovation.
Designed to bridge academic learning with industry realities, the interaction brought together students and faculty members for an engaging exchange on the challenges, opportunities and evolving dynamics of the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Drawing from his rich professional journey, Jiwarajka shared practical lessons on building and scaling businesses, strategic decision-making and navigating an increasingly complex global economy. He underscored that successful entrepreneurship demands far more than a business idea—it requires resilience, adaptability, continuous learning and the courage to convert challenges into opportunities.
Addressing the aspiring entrepreneurs, he encouraged students to look beyond conventional career aspirations and cultivate a mindset driven by innovation, problem-solving, leadership and value creation.

One of the defining highlights of the event was its integration with “Decoded with Chandni Kapadia,” the University’s flagship podcast series hosted by Dr. Chandni Kapadia, Executive Director of GLS University. In an engaging fireside-style conversation, Jiwarajka reflected on the defining moments of his entrepreneurial journey, sharing personal experiences, leadership philosophies and the decisions that shaped his career. The podcast format offered participants an intimate glimpse into the thought process behind successful enterprise-building, adding a distinctive storytelling dimension to the interaction.
The session emerged as a memorable learning experience, inspiring students to think ambitiously, embrace innovation and prepare themselves for the realities of the entrepreneurial world.
By consistently bringing accomplished industry leaders to campus, GLS University continues to strengthen the bridge between academia and industry, empowering students with practical knowledge, professional perspectives and future-ready skills that extend well beyond classroom education.
