Fresh from its strongest-ever performance in India, Škoda Auto India is accelerating into its next growth phase by taking premium European mobility closer to customers. With Gujarat emerging as one of India’s fastest-growing automotive markets, the company has expanded its footprint with three new customer touchpoints while outlining an ambitious roadmap centred on wider market reach, digital innovation, enhanced safety and superior ownership experiences. The expansion comes as the Czech automaker builds on record-breaking sales driven by its expanding SUV portfolio and rapidly growing customer base.
In partnership with PPS Motors Pvt. Ltd., Škoda Auto India has inaugurated a new sales and service facility at Naroda, a new showroom at Maninagar in Ahmedabad and a Compact 3S facility at Himmatnagar.
The Naroda facility spans 26,700 sq. ft., featuring display space for six vehicles, 19 service bays and a dedicated Škoda Express Care Bay for quick servicing. The Maninagar showroom covers 4,800 sq. ft. with display capacity for seven vehicles, while the Himmatnagar Compact 3S facility occupies 10,600 sq. ft., comprising a showroom for four vehicles and four service bays.
Designed around Škoda Auto’s global Modern Solid design philosophy, the facilities offer a premium retail ambience and an integrated sales and after-sales experience.
With these additions, Škoda Auto India now operates 25 customer touchpoints across 16 cities in Gujarat, while its national network has expanded to more than 340 touchpoints across 189 cities, reflecting one of the fastest dealership expansion programmes in the premium automotive segment.
Growth Powered by Products, Reach and Customer Trust
Speaking on the expansion, Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Škoda Auto India, said the company’s remarkable growth has been driven by a stronger product portfolio, wider market accessibility and a relentless focus on customer satisfaction.
“With the inauguration of these new facilities in Gujarat, we continue to strengthen Škoda Auto India’s presence across the state and the western region of India. Škoda Auto India has expanded its retail network from just over 120 touchpoints in 2021 to more than 340 today, supported by record sales and growing acceptance of its India-focused product portfolio. The company has also announced plans to further expand into Palanpur, Surendranagar, Godhra and strengthen its presence in Surat, underlining its commitment to making European engineering more accessible across Gujarat and beyond. The company recorded its highest-ever quarterly sales in Q1 2026 and its biggest-ever annual sales in 2025, with the Kylaq emerging as a major growth driver.
