Reinforcing its commitment to innovation while preserving over 130 years of trust and tea expertise, India’s most respected Wagh Bakri Tea Group has unveiled an AI-powered digital campaign for its newly introduced ‘Wagh Bakri SIPZ Instant Chai’ product. Built on a compelling consumer insight and developed using Artificial Intelligence, the campaign marks the brand’s progressive approach to technology-led storytelling while strengthening its connection with today’s digitally connected consumers.
Inspired by the insight that people may be away from home but continue to crave the comfort of “Ghar Jaisi Chai,” the film breaks category conventions with the thought, “Urgency Can Wait, But Chai Craving Can’t.” It introduces WB SIPZ Man, a distinctive character inspired by the product pack, highlighting how consumers can enjoy a familiar cup of tea anytime, anywhere by simply adding hot water to a convenient SIPZ sachet.

As younger consumers increasingly seek products that combine convenience with authentic taste, SIPZ Instant Chai offers a practical solution for professionals, students and travellers without compromising on the signature Wagh Bakri experience. The campaign also reflects the growing role of Artificial Intelligence in FMCG marketing, enabling brands to create innovative, cost-effective and consumer-centric communication while complementing human creativity.
Paras Desai, Executive Director, Wagh Bakri Tea Group, said, “For over 130 years, Wagh Bakri has evolved with changing consumer preferences while staying true to its legacy of quality and trust. ‘SIPZ Instant Chai’ offers consumers the familiar taste of Wagh Bakri in a travel-friendly format. This new AI-powered campaign of ours reflects our commitment to embracing technology to create meaningful consumer experiences without compromising our core values. The initiative reflects the company’s vision of embracing emerging technologies to create more engaging and relevant brand experiences.”
Gaurav Parashar, Chief Marketing Officer, Wagh Bakri Tea Group, said, “Instant Chai is one of the fastest-emerging beverage categories, driven by consumers seeking convenience without compromising on the comfort of ‘Ghar Jaisi Kadak Chai.’ At Wagh Bakri SIPZ, we are expanding the category through our ₹10 SKU, making Instant Chai more accessible to emerging cohorts such as students, young professionals, travellers, offices and small businesses. Our latest digital campaign, ‘Urgency Can Wait, But Chai Craving Can’t,’ reflects this evolving consumption behaviour. By leveraging Artificial Intelligence, we’ve accelerated creative execution, enabled fresh storytelling and created more meaningful consumer engagements”

Sushobhan Chowdhury, Founder, AHA (ThatsAHA Consulting LLP), said, “For years, ambitious ideas were often held back by production constraints: locations, art direction, cinematography, time, and cost. With AI, many of those barriers have disappeared, especially for digital storytelling. The ideas still come from human intelligence; AI simply removes the production blockers. Wagh Bakri SIPZ is a great example of that. It allowed us to bring an ambitious creative vision to life without compromising the original idea. We’re proud to have partnered with Wagh Bakri on a campaign that embraces new technology while staying true to the craft of storytelling.”
As the marketing landscape continues to evolve, the brand remains focused on combining its rich legacy with future-ready technologies. It reaffirms the brand’s enduring commitment to quality and consumer trust while embracing emerging technologies to deliver innovative, consumer-centric campaigns.
The campaign will be rolled out across digital and social media platforms as part of an integrated marketing plan for Wagh Bakri SIPZ Instant Chai.
