The appointment, approved by the Board on the recommendation of its Nomination and Remuneration Committee, adds extensive experience in private equity, investment management, healthcare and lifesciences, business transformation and corporate governance to Eris’ Board.

Three decades across investment and healthcare
Awasthi brings more than three decades of professional experience spanning private equity, investment management, healthcare and lifesciences, strategic value creation and corporate governance.
He has held senior leadership positions in the investment industry, including Founding Managing Partner and Investment Committee Member of Tata Capital Growth Fund and Partner at Baring Private Equity Partners (India) Ltd.
His experience includes investments, strategic value creation, business transformation and board-level governance, areas that are increasingly significant for companies navigating growth, capital allocation and long-term value creation.
Board gains strategic and governance expertise
With Awasthi’s induction, Eris Lifesciences expects to further broaden the collective expertise of its Board, particularly in healthcare and lifesciences, investments and strategic business transformation.
The appointment also adds an experienced independent voice with exposure to investment decision-making and corporate governance at senior levels.
