What seemed to be a magical year of hope and excitement has suddenly pressed a global reset button and has left people wondering about how life would be post-lockdown and what would be future ahead. With a promise to spread positivity and hope, Public Relations Society of India has pledged to serve the society with meaningful awareness campaigns and strong messages and hence to celebrate the 35th National PR DAY in the same spirit, Public Relations Society of India, Ahmedabad Chapter on Thursday organized an Online Conference to recognize the exemplary services of some Brand Warriors towards the betterment of the society and a strong nation.
Recently, Public Relations of India Ahmedabad Chapter had organized a session on “The Role of Public Relations Professions during Global Lockdown” with Shobhit Pant as a guest speaker.
Announces Corona Awareness Competition
R.K. Singh, Chairman, PRSI – Ahmedabad Chapter congratulated the Brand Warriors and informed Media friends about the All India Corona Awareness Competition of Paper Presentations and Film competition propagated by PRSI on the theme of “Bharat Jagega – Corona Bhagega” for Teachers and Students of Mass Communication and Public Relations. Some exciting Prizes and Certificates were announced by PRSI as well.
Dr. Ajit Pathak, National President, PRSI was also present on the occasion as a Special Guest of honour and he mesmerized the audience with his encouraging poetry and motivated all to stay focused towards the growth and safety of the Nation.
Anup Dave, CEO, Shagun Corporation, Ahmedabad, the first invited Brand Warrior speaker at the forum shared, “Shagun Corporation is a professionally managed MEPF solutions company based out of India This COVID-19 pandemic has brought in unprecedented concerns over contamination. Sanitization systems rapidly started appearing on the market as a solution to this but then they started causing health problems to people as they were either poorly designed or wrongly marketed. Hence, the team at Shagun Corporation started spreading awareness on what to ensure for safe use of sanitization systems and what are the myths surrounding its uses.”

As the 2nd key Speaker, Nitin Shah, Managing Director of Chintan Sales, which manufactures Freedom brand of Sanitary Napkin Incinerators shared, “We realized that our product which is unique for Incinerating Sanitary Napkins in one of the most Eco-friendly manners could also be used as a Mask Incineratorand so we decided to spread more awareness about the same. We have also started developing Sanitation Chambers and fight for the benefit of the society to ensure that we are Corona Free.”
Kaushal Shah, Founder and Idea Inventor of Positive Jindagi (a Social Networking platform) shared, “We began this lockdown journey with 3 members wondering about what would happen ahead and today after 37 days, we have conducted almost 25 different sessions and activities and some of our sessions have seen over 500 members participate with full of energy. We also celebrated National PR Day on April 21 wherein Subhojit Sen – Secretary of PRSI – Ahmedabad Chapter coordinated the event for us and we invited Doctors, Ex Policemen, and Railway officials and our members who are fighting for the society. I congratulate Nitinbhai and Pareshbhai who are PJ Member and thank PRSI for inviting us on this forum.”
The programme was attended by members of the Press, key members of PRSI Ahmedabad Chapter, Members of Positive Jindagi, and many Communication and Journalism students of reputed colleges. Key members of PRSI Ahmedabad Chapter – Pathik Shah ensured a secured Zoom Session and Dr. Shashikant Bhagat shared the vote of thanks.
