Taking suo motu cognisance of media reports on the death of a woman after a live power line fell on her and two other persons, the State Human Rights Commission (SHRC) has called for a detailed report from the Chairman and Managing Director of Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited (TANGEDCO).
Jayachandran, member of SHRC has called for a detailed report from the TANGEDCO CMD within four weeks.
According to media report, a woman was electrocuted and two others were severely injured when a live electric wire fell on them when they were proceeding to their school near Red Hills during last month.
