Upload S1
In 2033, people who are near death can be “uploaded” into virtual reality hotels run by 6 tech firms. Cash-strapped Nora lives in Brooklyn and works in the customer service department for the luxurious “Lakeview” digital afterlife. When L.A. party-boy/coder Nathan’s self-driving car crashes, his high-maintenance girlfriend uploads him permanently into Nora’s VR world. Upload is created by Greg Daniels (The Office).
Thappad (PSVOD)
Thappad is a story of Amrita whose seemingly perfect life is shattered when her husband slaps her at a party. But is one slap enough to question what a relationship stands for? The film is a silent slap on our society’s age-old belief that — ‘Shaadi mein sab kuch chalta hain’. The film re-evaluates and questions this norm. Directed by Anubhav Sinha, the film stars a talented cast including Taapsee Pannu, Dia Mirza, Ratna Pathak Shah, Tanvi Azmi, Pavail Gulati, Manav Kaul, Ram Kapoor, among others.
Ab aani CD (Marathi PSVOD)
AB Aani CD is a soulful coming-of-age film that follows two playschool friends Bachchan and Gokhale who meet almost after 70 years at a birthday party. Directed by Milind Lele, the Marathi film stars Amitabh Bachchan and Vikram Gokhale in the lead.
Lana Woodley: Fly S1
Australia’s favourite double act Colin Lane and Frank Woodley have reunited to create the comeback masterpiece FLY. No more stupid silly nonsense, it’s time to make THEATRE. There is no reason whatsoever to think this will go as planned.
Tom Walker: Very Very S1
It is a love letter to mime (and to a coat) written by award-winning idiot Tom Walker, who keeps talking during what he insists is a mime show.
These titles will join the thousands of TV shows and movies from Hollywood and Bollywood in the Prime Video catalogue. These include Indian-produced Amazon Original series like The Family Man, Mirzapur, Inside Edge, The Forgotten Army, Four More Shots Please! and Made In Heaven, and award-winning and critically acclaimed global Amazon Original series, including Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, The Boys, Hunters, Fleabag , and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, all on Prime Video, which is available at no extra cost for Amazon Prime members. The service includes titles available in Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi, and Bengali.
