Giving a helping hand to the state government in fighting against COVID-19 private firms, banks, and retired judges have come forward liberally to donate for the COVID-19 Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF).
Lalitha Jewellery Mart Private Limited Managing Director Dr. M Kiran Kumar has donated Rs 1 crore and handed over the cheque to Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy here on Wednesday.
Indian Bank and Saptagiri Grameena Bank have donated Rs 30,00,000 and Rs 17,00,000 respectively.
Indian bank Deputy General Manager Prasad and Saptagiri Bank Regional Manager Ramakrishna have represented their banks while presenting the DD’s to Chief Minister.
Association of Former Judges of High Court (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana) has donated Rs 6,15,000.
Several businessmen, celebrities, public representatives, and others have donated for CMRF.
The donors have hailed the state government for its efforts to fight COVID-19 and appreciated the medical, paramedical, and sanitation staff for their courageous work during the pandemic.
