Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has written a letter to Extern Affairs Minister Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar to expedite safe return of stranded migrants in Kuwait and other nations.

The Chief Minister appreciated the ‘Vande Bharat Mission’ and briefed plight of migrant labour in Kuwait and other Gulf nations in his letter.

He appeals Jaishankar to talk to Kuwait High Commissioner and arrange for flights to Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, and Tirupati as quick as possible.

Chief Minister asserted that all the necessary facilities and quarantine centres have been arranged for those who return to the state and tests will be conducted on arrival, a release from CMO said.
