Essar Foundation, the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of Essar Group. on Friday announced that it has donated 2,000+ Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) kits to the 1,200-bed COVID-19 Ward of Civil Hospital. Ahmedabad.
This was done under Essar Cares’ initiative to protect the COVID Warriors, says a company release.
Each PPE kit included a non-woven full-body protective suit, 3 Ply mask, safety goggles, hand gloves, shoe cover & waste collection bag. The kits were handed over to Dr Prabhakar, Officer on Special Duty (OSD) and Dr Manish Sutana, In-Charge Medical Office of the Civil Hospital, respetively.
We were humbled by the appreciation received from Dr Prabhakar and the recognition received by the official social media handles of Health and Family Welfare Department of the Government of Gujarat, the release added.
