The results of class X and XII board exams in Tamil Nadu would be declared in July, said School Education Minister K A Sengottaiyan here on Saturday.

தேர்வு முடிவுகள் வெளியிடப்பட்ட பின் சூழ்நிலைகளுக்கு ஏற்ப பள்ளிகளை திறப்பது குறித்து ஜூன் மாதத்திற்கு பின் ஆலோசிக்கப்படும். #TNEducation

Mostly the class X and XII exam results will be out in July and due to prevailing situation, it is impossible to disclose the exact date of publication of the results, the minister told reporters at Gobichettipalayam in Erode district.
Teachers are already engaged in evaluation of answer sheets of class 12 examinations, since May 27, the Minister said. The board exams for class X will be held from June 15 to 25 for over 9.5 lakh candidates, as per the revised schedule announced by the government.
The exams have been postponed due to increase in COVID-19 cases in the state. Earlier, the exams were scheduled to be held from June 1-12. In view of coronavirus outbreak, the Minister said the reopening date of schools could not be disclosed now and the government would take a decision based on the recommendations made by a committee formed by it to look into the matter.
Earlier, the minister distributed cooperative bank loans to beneficiaries from various sectors.
