Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami declares open new housing projects completed by the Tamil Nadu Housing Board at various locations in Chennai through video conferencing on Monday in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam.
The TNHB projects declared open by the Chief Minister were – 510 Low Income Group multi-storey tenements in Mahakavi Bharathi Nagar at an area of 2.46 acre plot of land. Each tenement with 2 bed room flats with the plinth area of 688 to 721 square feet.
40 HIG flats at JJ Nagar (East) constructed at a cost of Rs. 12.70-crore, 48 MIG flats constructed at a cost of Rs. 11.97-crore, 12 HIG flats constructed at an estimated cost of Rs. 2.96-crore in Chennai. He also declared open Amma Thirumana Mandapam at an estimated cost of Rs. 5.51-crore at Anna Nagar in Sathamangalam in Madurai district.
Deputy Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam, Minister for Fisheries D. Jayakumar, TNHB Chairman P.K. Vairamuthu, Chief Secretary K. Shanmugam, Additional Chief Secretary for Finance (in charge) and TNHB Managing Director S. Krishnan and other officials were present, says a release.
