The Dakshin Bharat Area as part of its continued efforts under Operation Naman, undertook an unique endeavour to reach out to veterans and veernaris of all Arms and Services, says release from Defence PRO.
Over the past two weeks, a number of veterans and veernaris of Tamil Nadu were contacted and as a mark of gratitude and recognition for the selfless service, they were provided with fruit baskets, cakes and face masks etc., on behalf of General Officer Commanding of Dakshin Bharat Area.
Updated on commencement of canteen services
The veterans have also been updated with the commencement of canteen service and are regularly being apprised of the stock levels at the Canteens and are also being rendered advice with respect of ECHS facilities and procedures to avail them. “Our Deepest Gratitude for those who Served our Country and would like to assure that Indian Army will stand by you in these Difficult times”, was the message given by the Dakshin Bharat Area to the elders on the difficult times of Covid-19 spread.
