LADAKH, JULY 3
Amid border standoff with neighbouring China for over seven weeks in multiple locations in Eastern Ladakh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived Ladakh to review the security situation on Friday morning.
Modi was accompanied by Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat and Army Chief MM Naravane.
Modi is presently at one of the forward locations in Nimu where he is interacting with personnel of the Army, Air Force and ITBP. Located at 11,000 feet, this is among the tough terrains, surrounded by Zanskar range and on the banks of the River Indus.
