The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced the name of party functionaries authorised to announce the party candidates to be fielded in the local body elections to be held on December 27 and 30, respectively, here on Friday.
Former Union Minister of State for Finance and State President Pon Radhakrishnan has appointed party functionaries for each of the 27 poll-bound districts across the State.

These 27 party men hold various posts in BJP’s national and State-level panels.
