The ruling All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) has announced the first list of official candidates for the rural local bodies in Theni, Salem, Krishnagiri, Ariyalur, Tiruvarur, Madurai Rural, Madurai East, Thoothukudi North districts here on Friday night.
The candidates list running into 50 pages for the wards of the District panchayats and panchayat unions were announced.
The announcement was jointly made by the party’s Coordinator and Deputy Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam and Co-coordinator and Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami.
