The Vice President of India M Venkaiah Naidu, will be visiting Anand on Saturday for as part of his two-day visit to Gujarat.
The Vice President will participate in the 40th year celebration of the Institute of Rural Management situated inside the NDDB campus in Anand on Saturday.
In the afternoon, he will take part in the platinum jubilee celebrations of Charutar Vidya Mandal (CVM), the education trust which has decided to felicitate A M Naik, group chairman of L&T at Shastri Maidan.
A block of a school at CVM will be named in Naik’s honour.
Naidu will also participate in the 62nd convocation ceremony of Sardar Patel University (SPU) at Vallabh Vidyanagar. Governor and Chancellor of the University Acharya Devvrat will participate as the guest of honour.
Naidu will present the President’s Colours to Gujarat police in Gandhinagar on Sunday.
