Chief Minister Vijaybhai Rupani will launch on Monday three ‘Aadarsh Residential Girls’ Schools and five ‘Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Kumar (Boys) Hostels through video-conferencing, a government release said.
All these eight complexes have been constructed at a total cost of Rs. 61.75-crore by the Social Justice & Empowerment Department, Government of Gujarat.
Of the three ‘Aadarsh Residential Girls’ Schools’, one school each for girl students of scheduled castes are located in Vadodara district and at Bakrol in Anand district; while one school for the developing castes is located at Jalalpore in Navsari district.
While five ‘Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Kumar (Boys) Hostels are located at Gandhinagar, at Bakrol in Anand district and at Mahuva in Bhavnagar district. These hostels would provide boarding, lodging, and educational facilities to 1,200 students.
