The wait for Thalapathy Vijay’s “Master’’ to hit the big screens gets longer but it’s worth it. From the horse’s mouth, it is now confirmed that the Thalapathy Vijay starrer is not just a film of the star’s fans, but will also satisfy the neutral audiences who want to watch good cinema.
Director Lokesh Kanagaraj in a recent interaction with his fans, made an interesting revelation about the film. Incidentally, the young producer Xavier Britto revealed that he has finished the post-production of the Vijay starrer, and has already watched the movie. According to Lokesh Kangaraj, he has already watched Master for around 10 times, as a part of the final touches and each time the movie was as entertaining as the first time.
The director’s revelations have excited the Vijay fans and Tamil cinema audiences, who have been eagerly waiting to watch Master on big screens soon. From Lokesh Kanagaraj’s revelation, it is now confirmed that the Thalapathy Vijay starrer is not just a film of the star’s fans, but will also satisfy the neutral audiences who want to watch good cinema.
In a recent interview given to a popular online media, Xavier Britto, the producer of Master had confirmed that the movie will either release for Deepavali 2020 or get postponed to Pongal 2021. According to the producer, an OTT release is not even an option for a big-budget venture like Master, which demands a grand theatrical release. Thus, the makers have decided to wait until the theaters reopen after the lockdown.
Master, the highly anticipated upcoming Vijay starrer will hit the theatres once the lockdown ends. The action thriller, which marks the first onscreen collaboration of Thalapathy Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi, is one of the most awaited projects of Tamil cinema.
Vijay appears as the titular character JD Master aka John Durairaj, the Dean of a popular college in the city, in the Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial. Vijay Sethupathi, on the other hand, plays the role of Bhavani, the lead antagonist. Malavika Mohanan, the Petta fame actress appears as the female lead opposite Vijay in Master. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the songs and background score for the movie.
