Tamil Nadu Governor Banwarilal Purohit has condoled the death of Madhya Pradesh Governor Lalji Tandon on Tuesday.
In his condolence message, Banwarilal Purohit said “The sad demise of Shri Lalji Tandon, Hon’ble Governor of Madhya Pradesh fills me with great shock and grief. He was a great statesmen, effective administrator and wonderful human being. He devoted his whole life for the welfare of the people of India particularly of Uttar Pradesh.’’
“He was Cabinet Minister, Leader of House and also Leader of Opposition in Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly. He was active Parliamentarian in Lok Sabha. He was Hon’ble Governor of Bihar also. His demise is irreparable loss to the people of India.’’
Banwarilal Purohit conveyed his condolences to the bereaved members of the family and pray to the Almighty God to rest his soul in peace and give strength to his family to overcome this unfathomable loss, the message said.
