Konark Corps’ General Officer Commanding Lieutenant General Anil Puri on Tuesday spearheaded a green drive at Jodhpur Military Station, a Defence release said.

In its continual effort and dedicated attempt towards environment protection, Konark Corps and the private sector lender HDFC Bank came together to undertake a plantation drive at Jodhpur Military Station. As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, the HDFC Bank made a contribution of over 1,000 plant saplings of numerous varieties like Gulmohar, Lemon, Jamun, etc. for this green drive here, the statement added.
The plantation drive was jointly led by Lieutenant General Anil Puri, and Amit Agrawal, City Head, HDFC Bank, Jodhpur. The bank officials and all ranks and families of the station came together for the plantation of these saplings across Jodhpur Military Station. The well-timed plantation drive will go a long way in ensuring a cleaner and greener Jodhpur Military Station.
